This allows us to see if we’re a good fit for each other and to determine if I have the expertise you are looking for. It also gives me a chance to provide information about my practice, what to expect, and to schedule a first appointment if applicable.

I’ve found that it works best if you’re coming to therapy weekly or every other week. Any longer intervals than that are not as effective.

I am scheduling clients Tuesday through Friday. My hours are usually in the range of 10am-4pm.

I do not see children or couples. My counseling services are for individuals ages 18+. However, I have some great recommendations if you need a referral!

Currently I am only offering telehealth. I am physically located in El Dorado County, but this allows me to see any client in California.

The first session is primarily focused on getting background information, getting more details about what you wrote in your paperwork, and defining your goals and treatment plan for therapy.

I have accepted insurance in the past and found it to be limiting to the type of care I would like to provide to my clients. Paying privately for therapy gives both the therapist and client more autonomy in their care and treatment plan.
